The Nursery has a stimulating and vibrant environment both indoors and outdoors. There are a wide range of opportunities for the children to choose from. They are able to work alone, in a group or with an adult on a range of activities related to their needs or current interests.

When planning we consider needs, interests and stages of development of each child then plan challenging and enjoyable learning experiences which develop the children’s confidence and ability in all areas of learning and development.

Our areas of learning are implemented through planned, purposeful play and a mix of adult led and child initiated activities. We identify the skill that children need and then let them practice and apply that skill in a way that is interesting and motivating to them.

We do have termly topics, which are loosely based around the seasonal changes and significant events in the year. This topic is then enhanced following the lines of children’s interest and developmental needs.

Thank you for taking the time to look at our page! We hope you are as excited as we are to begin your Learning Journey with you!

As parents and carers you are the most influential teachers in your child’s life and their first teachers!
