Pen Pals: Beaumont Lodge & George Hythe House

Pupils in Year 6 created some Christmas artwork and wrote short messages to the residents of George Hythe house (residential care home for older people).  We were very excited to receive letters from the residents and are busy writing our replies! Below are some of the letters we received. 

Leicester City in the Community 

Thank you to Leicester City in the Community who surprised our Year 6 pupils with advent calendars in recognition for their work in raising money for charity (MacMillan Cake sale and Children In Need day). 

Harvest Festival 2022

Thank you to all of our families who donated food for our Harvest Festival collection.  Our local food bank was very appreciative of the donation.  

Macmillan Cake Sale 2022

Beaumont Lodge Primary School was very proud of the response to the Macmillan Cake Sale. Thank you to all the families who came along and supported this great cause. Year 6 were tremendous in their first ever experience of enterprising.  We raised an incredible £187.49! Well done all!
