Reading is a crucial part of a child’s development. It helps with vocabulary, boosts comprehension, and encourages critical thinking. But beyond that, reading can ignite their imagination and creativity.

At Beaumont Lodge Primary School, we have been working hard to instil a love of reading amongst our pupils. Every Friday, we have a Reading club from 12:30 during which pupils can come and read a range of beautiful books.

Every Friday in assembly, Mrs Kazi shares a story with the school, usually linked to a theme such an upcoming festival, themed week or a book linked to our values.

Please support us in our mission to instil a love of reading amongst our pupils.
