BLPS Passports

‘Pupil Passports’ are checklists of exciting and enjoyable activities to help children to broaden their interests.  Having a wide range of interests and experiences will give a sense of personal achievement and can also improve academic outcomes. Your children may find something they want to come back to again and again, and we hope that, whatever they do, they will enjoy them.

Each year group has its own list of twenty-four activities, which works out at about 8 per term. They can be done in any order. The majority of these activities will cost little or nothing to complete.  Many of the activities will be delivered at school.  Details of activities will have been shared in the recent parent workshops.

At the end of the year, we will award bronze, silver or gold certificates according to the number of activities each child has completed.  Passports which will be kept at school will be updated by pupils as and when they complete their activities.

We hope families will find these passports useful when deciding on activities to do at home on the weekends or during school holidays! Copies of the passports can be found below.
