Welcome to Family Learning

We would love to see you at our ‘Reading with your Child’ course at Beaumont Lodge Primary School.

The course starts on Wednesday 3^rd of November at 9-11am  and runs for 6 weeks.  Below is our flyer and the course information sheet.

On our courses we enjoy exploring different ways to make learning fun at home, so we can help you to support your child’s learning in fun, interactive ways.

Have a look at the video clips to get a flavour of the activities we do in courses.  The videos show you a story ‘Dinosaurs in the Supermarket’ and how to  play a ‘What Why Where’  game that you can use with any story.   It’s a fun way to ask questions about any story you read so you know your child is understanding about the characters and the story.  There is also a copy of the game you can print off to use at home.

Parents who come to Family Learning course get lots of games to make, idea to try – and for this course a FREE ‘Dinosaurs in the Supermarket’ book.

You can call to enrol on 0116 4541900 or you can give your details to school reception to book a place and enrol with the tutor in the first session.
