Links to the school/area | I was responsible for setting up (2009) & running (until 2018) the Right to Read program between PepsiCo & Beaumont Lodge. Over the years I have become a familiar face around school through my regular school visits (fortnightly) to listen to the children read. |
Why did you become a governor? | Every time I visit Beaumont Lodge, I feel welcomed by staff & students. The children are always very polite & want to learn. The staff at school work exceptionally hard to provide a safe environment for the children to be happy, make friends & learn & I wanted to contribute towards the positive ethos the school continues to emit. |
