At Beaumont Lodge Primary School we are HISTORIANS, whose understanding of the past leads an understanding of the present! We want to fuel our children’s curiosity toward a love of history and to be inspired to become archivists, museum curators, archaeologists or research analysts. When investigating life in the past, children will gain a sense of chronological awareness, identity and cultural understanding based on historical heritage. Through exploring the actions of significant people and events of Britain’s past and that of the wider world, we aim to empower children’s understanding of how different human societies have arrived at where they are today.
